Yhdeksäs valmistunut JyJy. Perussukat miehelle Regian Pairfect -langasta. Halusin kokeilla, että tuleeko täsmälleen kaksi samanlaista sukkaa niinkuin kerän vyötteessä luvataan. Ja tulihan niistä. Täytyy myös sanoa , että Regia on aivan ihana lanka neuloa.
The 9th JyJy completed. Basic socks for my Hubby from Regia Pairfect. I wanted to test that will you get exactly similar socks as promised. And it worked, stripes are more or less identical. I must also say that I love knitting Regia yarns.
Tässä langassa ideana on, että aloitetaan kerän keskeltä ja ensin keritään kaikki keltainen lanka pois ennenkuin päästään neulomaan sukkia. Yllättävän paljon sitä keltaista lankaa saa keriä, 3 g oli aloituksessa ja 3 g kerän puolivälissä osoittamassa toisen sukan alkukohtaa. Olisin kuvitellut, että vähempikin määrä keltaista olisi riittänyt osoittamaan alkukohtia, mutta kenties syynä on jokin valmistustekninen seikka. Alussa sitä kerkesi jo miettimään, että pitääkö keriä puoli kerää...
The idea in this yarn is that you start from the middle of ball. You unwind all the yellow yarn before you're able to start knitting the socks. There is surprisingly much of yellow, 3 g in the beginning and 3 g in the middle of the ball indicating the start of new sock. I would have imaging that less of the yellow yarn would have been enough to show the starting points but maybe the amount is depended of some manufacturing issues. In the beginning I already started to think that do I need to unwind half of the ball...
